The Keep Your Head Up Charm is intended as a protective amulet to encourage you to be strong and live life to the full. Inspired by the Ben Howard song, Keep Your Head Up, the idea is that carrying it around with you will help you to stay centered and open hearted. It comes with a little note inside it's Spaceform eliptical box packaging, showing that it is made in Britain and explaining it's intention.
The idea of our charms is inspired by Japanese Omamori, which is traditionally found by Japanese shines, intended to hold a prayer inside. This Charm was originally designed by Laura for her best friend whose boyrfriend was training to become a pilot and had given her a necklace with an aeroplane that she wears daily... the song lyrics are very much her mantra.
Made of laser cut sheet acrylic, the white opaque and clear areoplanes fit perfectly inside the small and slender acrylic box with a lid that spins open. You can also thread a cord through the hole if your wish to tie it to the handle of your bag or hang it by your bedside on a hook if you prefer.
